Making Room

The first 2022 major project is my new studio

But before I start building, we need to make room. We got a quote to have some trees taken down, but OMG prices have gone up! Myron Sharvan didn't want to just cut them down himself, because it looked like they'd fall right in the middle of my veggie garden. But after thinking it over he came up with a plan to catch one tree on another and let them both fall gently. I was so nervous I forgot to get a video, but he did it perfectly. Laid them down gently, right next to the garden beds. I've seen him cut a lot of trees, I'm telling you, that was a work of art!

Then he had to clean up the mess, but it's very hot in the sun, so he grabbed a couple of driveway markers and a tarp and made a canopy for the tractor.

I think he saved us $3000 in tree services and tractor canopies this morning.
