A Little Help Goes A Long Way

Back to work!! Finishing touches on the floor are complete, now for the walls! It's a glorious Wednesday morning, enjoy my friends, I know I will.
Evening Post
One wall up! I am really working to do this all on my own, but a little extra upper body strength goes a long way! Thank you Myron Sharvan for helping me before you left for work!
Additional Thoughts
One important aspect of the floor is providing bathroom drainage. I needed to get the drains installed before I got too far ahead of myself. There is no crawlspace under the cottage, so I needed to install the pipes before attaching the hardware wire meant to keep rodents out from under the cottage. I measured and cut each drain hole through the floor sheathing and installed the PVC pipe. It was a tight space, and it took some maneuvering to get everything where it needed to be. Once everything was in place, I used spray insulating foam to seal any openings, and it was good to go.
You may be wondering about the drainage pipes freezing over in the winter. I haven't had any. They are sloped to drain properly (1/4 inch per foot), not too fast and not too slow, and they feed into our septic system with no issues so far. Fingers crossed.
After the drains were installed, I started with the simplest and shortest wall. The west wall has no windows or doors, so it was a great way to get my feet wet and start building up. It was light enough for Myron and me to lift, so we didn't need a wall jack. And we propped it up with a few spare 2x4s for good measure.
